Carving Pumpkins

Carving pumpkins seems to be a yearly tradition in our family and usually we grow our own. It's much more fun growing them yourself and this year was a great year for pumpkins, but alas the slugs got to mine before it could properly sprout. So this year we did something different, we headed to a pumpkin patch to pick our own. It was a great experience, and a lot of fun to get some pictures of little man on a pumpkin. So we headed to Pumpkin Moon in Kent for some spooky fun. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun and the sun was shinning and we ended up with an icecream.

2 pumpkins in the bag and its time to carve. We picked up a large pumpkin to carve what we wanted which has eneded up as ghost face. You need an adults help for the carving part, trust me, I am bad at carving and glad my partner carved it. But as for the litte pumpkin it was way to short to carve so we did something different this year. We drew on it. I think in future, I will use paints but we did the best with what we had.

As the small pumpkin was white and for little man we of course had to go for a Bluey theme. So mummy using her best art skills drew Bluey and Bingo. As a first attempt it was fun and deffinitally an experience. the pair are perfect for this spooky season and great fun to include the children.
