NYX Makeup || Review

Wow it has been a hot minute since I posted a beauty review on here and it has definitely been overdue. This post has been sitting in my to do list since last year, but I just couldn't find the time to write it. But better lat then never this is my NYX cosmetics review, so let's get to it...
A purchase from IMATS London 2017. I was originally on the lookout for the Angel Veil primer, however they were already out of stock and this was really the only other primer I could try. It has a very thick consistency and feels like silicon, which I used to love, however it seems to make my makeup feel a little heavy. The staying power isn't really there and I find with my oily skin that the mattifying properties seem to be non-existent. I think if you have normal or combination skin this will be perfect for you to keep matte all day, but for us oily skinned people it just doesn't give us what we need.

Unlike the Shine Killer, this primer is one of my all time faves and one I will definitely be purchasing again. The consistency is light enough with a slight silicon feel, but it doesn't feel like cake on the face. This primer is the Bomb.com, when it comes to flawless base with minimised pores and smooth skin this guy has it all. There's just one thing wrong with this product, it doesn't come in a bigger size. I haven't had this much love for a primer in so long and being drugstore as well it is perfect. If you want a great primer for flawless skin that doesn't break the bank, this is the one for you.

I am a highlighter addict and I'm proud of it, though this addiction needs satisfying and I just cannot let a highlighter pass by. This highlighter from NYX is beautiful and smooth, the shade Ritualistic is a beautiful white gold. On the skin it gives a beautiful natural glow, not too in your face but perfect for everyday wear. It does come off a little powdery which is the only down side. With a compact powder and addition of a mirror this is a great travel highlight.

When this was release I grabbed at the chance, and I wasn't disappointed. This little bottle packs a punch of coverage and shade correcting. I think originally this product was designed to be mixed in with foundations to adjust the color or wear as a light foundation. Well no, build it up for that full coverage girl, or add it on top of a medium foundation. As a liquid it is powerful, but don't worry about looking oily or it disappearing on the skin, this guy dries. This means more building and more coverage, the only downside with this product is the oxidation, for me it does oxidise bad, but getting a lighter shade helps with that, so bare that in mind. Overall great product.

Wicked Lippes (£7)
Ok I should put a disclaimer here, these are not something that I usually go for and the reasoning behind it was to find dupes of 2 Kylie Jenner lip kits. So, yeah they aren't exactly what I expected them to be and for me they are far to creamy then what I was after. That being said they do make great metallic lipsticks, highlighter and SFX makeup, as they blend perfectly, HAHAHA.

Dupes dupes dupes, now this is how you do a good matte liquid lipstick dupe. Matte without leaving the lips being dry, and plenty of nude shades to choose from to suit any skin tone. The only thing I would like to see in this range is a few more colorful shades. Though, the formulation is perfect and at an affordable price, save your money and grab these. (Shades shown; Exotic, Seduction and Corset)

Yes Yes Yes Hunty! This lip liner gives me life, purchased because of Amber Scholl (check her out she's a babe). It is everything you want in a lip liner, creamy, matte, long lasting and natural. I love this liner so much that I have 2, so I always have a spare. I love carving my lips out with this liner and creating that perfect pout. Being natural and long lasting means meal out and nights out you can be happy and assured that your lips are going to be looking flawless.

Metal Palette (£25)
This palette is by far one of my favorites, all 12 shades are metallic and beautiful. Most of them are dual toned and are super creamy and beautiful. I don't own a palette like it, all shimmer, all glow and all blendable. This palette is part of the Elements range which was released in the Holidays of 2017. If you can find this palette, grab it and run you won't be disappointed in the shimmer and color pay off, just beautiful.

Few! If you got this far thank you for sticking around, this has been a photo heavy post. Well onwards and upwards.

Stay Gorgeous
