Urban Decay Makeup || Review

On the day of the Naked Heat release, I couldn't just pick up the palette I had to pick up a few extra items. But to add to this collection way back when, I also picked up the All Nighter Foundation and All Nighter Setting spray. Urban Decay are really bring the heat with their new releases, every single one is unique and a must have, so you'll be seeing many of these hauls in the future.

Now firstly, I haven't tried this spray that often so I am just going by the few times I have used it. This setting spray is designed to be sprayed onto a finished face, and this formula is supposed to ensure your makeup lasts all day. Well application is pretty straight forward, just spray at the face, let it dry and done. You can apply the spray as much as you want at at as many different stages as you want such as after foundation. I'm unsure how well it truly works as I haven't tried it with a foundation that doesn't last that long. But from what I have seen, my makeup stays in place all day and it is great at taking away that look of excess powder.

If you have been following my blog for awhile you will know I love a good high coverage matte foundation. This one from Urban Decay is no exception for my love of these types of foundations. Most Urban Decay foundations I have found to be more light to medium coverage, so this is a few new alternative. The only downside to this product is that there aren't that many shades to choose from, so for my pale tone I had to choose the lightest shade (0.5). I found this shade works from me most of the year, but it's a little pale for my summer tone, the next shade up unfortunately was just a little too dark for my skin tone, so that's the downside. The packaging is really cool and as it is a pump foundation you won't have to worry about wasting product. Overall, it is a great foundation with amazing staying power. If you are someone with acne or uneven skin tone, then this is a perfect product for you. Though limiting in shades, I would recommend to go a tiny bit lighter as you can always warm it up with some bronzer.

Firstly the packaging is beautiful, a mystical fairy color with a blurred edged flower. The reason I picked this primer over the others, was because it is designed to fill in any imperfections and smooth out the skin leaving you with a flawless base. It does have a slight silicone feel to it, though on the skin it seems to just melt in and leave the skin looking and feeling amazing. It has been a while since I found a really good primer which fills in my pores and leaves me loving my skin. If you do suffer from large pores, I would highly recommend using this primer.

WOW, WOW, WOW! Urban Decay have pulled this little magic pot out of the unicorn's butt. So Urban Decay came out with their own range of skin care products a few months ago and they have just slayed it. This is one of the most unique moisturizers I have ever experienced. This gel applies so easily and leaves the face feeling smooth, hydrated but not oily, a plus for us oily skins am I right. So what makes this moisturizer so unique is, that as you blend it into the skin little droplets appear. It is such as strange sight and sensation everyone should try it at least once.

Oh yes, a product that will make any foundation matte as well as increasing its coverage. This is The Velvetizer, a translucent mix-in medium with the power to bring new life into those crummy foundations left at the back of the draw. First thing to put straight, it says to add 1 part powder to 1 part foundation, don't! I tried it a few times with this method and the application is just horrible, I mean it goes on smooth but after a couple of hours it starts to look patchy. So when I went to the Naked Heat event I asked how to use it. Well they had the same issue, so I was recommended to add less powder. And you know what, it worked and I mean worked. I've used it with a couple of foundations and it works a treat, leaving the coverage fuller and the finish matte. Not only is it great to mix in foundation, you can even apply it as a setting powder. This product is so versatile and different I would recommend it to anyone.
