You might think that you need to have a budget like Kim Kardashian, Emma Watson or Kerry Washington to look as good as them, but you really don’t. Sure, they can buy all of the designer brands that you can’t, but looking good is more about the way you wear things than how much you spend on them. Sure, it is sometimes sensible to splurge on a certain item, but most of the time, you can create the look you’re after with more affordable fashion and beauty products.

Want to look good for less? Here are some tips to help you do just that:

Teeth Whitening

One thing the majority of the most beautiful women in the world have in common is that they all have perfect smiles. This, is in large part, due to their spotlessly white teeth. The good news is, you can have teeth like them too. Thanks to 3d whitening strips, you can remove staining and discoloration from your teeth without spending hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on cosmetic dentists and tooth implants.

Good Foundations

You wouldn’t build a house without ensuring the foundations are sound, and you should never put together an outfit without ensuring that your undergarments are fit for purpose either. You see, you don’t need to buy expensive Gucci dresses to look great – you just need to find a pretty outfit that fits properly and wear it in conjunction with supportive, enhancing underwear. This could be a good plunge bra, a pair of Spanx or undies that don’t show through your dress. That’s how you get a flawless red carpet look.

Visit a Tailor

Once you’ve got your underwear sorted, it is never a bad idea to take your clothes to a tailor. Sure, it’ll add a few pounds to the cost of every outfit you wear, but it’s cheaper than having your clothes specially made for you, and you’re never going to look your best if you’re wearing a jacket with sleeves longer than your arms or jeans that scrape on the ground. Well dressed people look that way because they have their clothes tailored. Be like them.

Let Nature Look After Your Skin

If you want to defy time like Jane Fonda, you need to look after your skin, but that doesn’t mean you should form out £100 for the latest ‘must-have’ face cream. Looking after your skin can be as simple as regularly washing it and using natural products such as brown sugar and coconut oil to cleanse, moisturise and exfoliate daily.

Good Hair Care

Where many women go wrong is by washing their hair too often. If you want to cultivate a head of healthy hair that would be the envy of any shampoo advert model, you need to wash your hair no more than three times a week, and you should do this with lukewarm water (hot water damages hair). Do this along with upping your protein intake and treating yourself to a hair mask once a month and your hair will be healthy, shiny and beautiful in no time at all.
