Top 5 Highend || Powders

2017 and I am finally going to finish my top 5 highend products. I started these top 5's halfway through last year, and trust me there are a lot more and a lot of different products I would have included. However, I thought I would leave those off for a 2016 Favorites coming at you very soon. So, without further ado, let's get started.

The first one on my list and it's a cult classic, then again a lot of Mac products are cult classics. It's a light pressed powder, though it can look a little chalky if you apply too much. It only offers light to medium coverage, but being a mineral powder it is really soft and makes the skin look flawless and matte. The shade range is good and is easily applied with a brush. Though, compared to other highend powders I feel this only comes 5th in my list.

A staple product that most people own, and one of most people's first highend powder. The infamous studio fix powder is a medium to high coverage powder, great for first timers and makeup enthusiasts alike. Though there is a word of warning when it comes to this product, go lightly. It can come off a little powdery and cakey if you apply too much, and it can be done so easily. This powder is also designed to be worn on its own as a powder foundation, but I definitely would recommend wearing a primer under it. This is perfect for all skin tones and skin types, but do go lightly if you have dry skin.

This powder is a little harder to get your hands on, as it isn't readily available here in the UK. However, if you are in the UK you can pick it up from QVC, which is great as you get a brush with it as well. Though, I picked up mine in the US at Sephora, so I didn't get a brush with and I didn't pick up the perfect shade for my all year skin tone. However, this powder is phenomenal. It is long lasting, high coverage and slightly waterproof. Perfect for those hot humid days, and if you are blessed with poreless skin a great alternative foundation. If you can get this powder, grab it, you won't regret it and you will love it.

A pressed powder that really packs a punch. Medium to high coverage it really helps give you that extra coverage you need to cover up those pesky blemishes. Not only that, it can be worn on its own as a powder foundation, but if you have big pores I wouldn't recommend just powder. The powder is really soft and blends over the skin like a dream, perfect for everyday mattifying. the downside of this powder though it the strange sponge it came with (not in photo as it has found its way in the bin). It is a very strange consistency, being sponge yet having a fluffy side. But, apart from that is is a great pressed powder, though it is colored and I wouldn't say that there are a lot of darker skin tones available.

This stuff has literally been a revolution to my makeup routine. This is such a hyped and cult product and I certainly know why, baking lovers eat your heart out. Perfect for that baking and fine enough that it blends perfectly onto the skin, and a little certainly goes a long way. It doesn't sit in my pores, perfect as I don't want those bad boys looking giant. Not only all of this but it keeps me super matte for longer without looking cakey. As it has no color it is perfect for every skin tone and every skin type, definitely worth the money.

There are a lot more products I could have mentioned in here, however, these are what I have found good for my skin type (oily). Though I'm not discrediting other products, it was just what I have in my own personal collection.

What is your favorite powder??
