The Rollercoaster Resturant || Review

I don't usually write reviews on restaurants or places to eat, but I really had to write this one. Back in June I went Alton Towers, and while we were there is pre-booked a table at their new Rollercoaster Resturant. I had seen the new resturant advertised, but really you have to see it to believe it.

So what makes this resturant special? Well, the main attraction and the reason why you have to go at least once in your life time...all the food and drink (apart from tea and coffee) comes down its own mini rollercoaster. Yes you read that right a rollercoaster. It is nothing extravagant, but your food a drink still do a corkscrew down to your table and for those lucky enough to be seated near the entrance it also does a few loop the loops.

When you enter you are greeted by some very helpful staff who take you to your table and explain everything. At this resturant you don't have a waiter, you have a tablet. This tablet is set up to your dinner party and table. So you choose the seat number (yours) and you order what you want. Though, as we were made aware, don't order everything as it will come out all at once.

Time to order, choosing my seat I selected my main and drink. The menu is on the pricy so be aware that you won't get a lot for under £10. But, for the speed and the amazement it is worth it at least once in your lifetime. Within about 5 minutes, my food and drink arrived. To keep the food together it is sent down in pots, this means you have to plate it up yourself, though it does mean you can control how much you put on your plate. This is great as, you get a lot of food for your money, I couldn't finish mine but it was tasty.

Once your done, some one comes round to collect your plates and pots. Then it's time to order dessert. If you go in as a pair I would definitely recommend the puddings to share. You should check the main menu outside before you go in to see which these are. As we ordered the ice cream which was to share and you got a lot. A family on the same table ordered one each they didn't finish them hehe.

So you've eaten and drunk, what do you do now? Well just grab your stuff and your tablet and just go to the desk at the front. They will access the tablet and give you your total to pay. This was so easy and everything was so fast. Everything was so quick, that you could have been in and out withing 30 minutes.

But, don't worry if you think that you can only have lunch, you can book for dinner. This is what we did, and the best part was we didn't have to pay the £6 for parking. As we left after the rush, we didn't have to pay.

This resturant is amazing and the food is great. I would definitely recommend going at least once.  It is pricey but ut is worth it.
