Charlotte Tilbury Makeup || Review

Wednesday, December 23, 2015

I have wanted Charlotte Tilbury products for ages and half way through the year I got the amazing Film Star Bronze and Glow palette, which I am so in love with. But, when you find a brand you just love, you can't help but want more. So, I couldn't resist but to pick up two bits, a Lipstick and an Eye Shadow Palette. So with out further ado lets get started.

Firstly the packaging is to die for, with its maroon base and rose gold detailing it is just amazing. Inside the box, the product is packaged in the same way, classic Charlotte Tilbury. Opening the palette you just melt, a decent sized mirror with the 4 most beautiful shades; Prime (pink champagne shimmer shade), Enhance (redish brown shimmer shade), Pop (beautiful glitter bronze shade) and Smoke (dark brown shimmer shade). Most of the palettes have a gorgeous glitter shadow which reminds me of the Magnificent Metal Eyes from Stila, this is my favorite shade. The colors really complement each other and are perfect for making a day look turn to night. The shimmer shades are very pigmented but easily blended and pigmented, the glitter shade is a little tricky to use with a brush, but with a finger it applies beautifully.

This is literally my favorite palette in my collection and it is perfect for travel. The palettes are so beautiful, I just can't help but want more of them. But, don't worry if you aren't a huge fan of these shades there are plenty of palette shades to choose from.

Wow, just wow. Firstly the classic Charlotte Tilbury packaging, which you can't help but fall in love with. inside is the most beautiful lipstick tube, in rose gold/copper. The tube is beautiful as it is let alone opening it up. Inside is the most beautiful lipstick, with Charlotte Tilbury printed on the tube. Firstly the color is perfect for this time of year, a beautiful purple berry shade, who couldn't resist. It glides on so smooth and beautifully, though I did have to layer it a little to get the effect I wanted. Once on the lips it drys to a matte shade, but not so dry that it makes the lips dry and sore, there is still a bit of moisture left in the lips. The best part it smells just like Mac lipsticks, that beautiful vanilla scent, which seems to be the new thing for highend lipsticks. The color does transfer a little, but as it is so bold and matte, it does leave a beautiful purple berry stain.

This lipstick is my new favorite for this time of year, and is such a beautiful formula you can't say no. This lipstick has opened me up to trying a load more shades from the Charlotte Tilbury collection. There are so many shades and types, that you just can't go wrong.

This brand is very highend, but it really is worth it. The products are so well done, not just in the packaging but in the quality of the products. I think everyone should have at least one of the products from Charlotte Tilbury, just to see how amazing and wonderful they are. And trust me you will fall in love with this brand and want to keep coming back for more.

Have you tried any Charlotte Tilbury products??

Stay Gorgeous
