Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow || Review

I have wanted the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow since it was released but I've never had the guts to go and pick it up. Then one day up in London with my mum I was actually going to buy it after having it applied, but my mum surprised me and bought it for me a a late Birthday and Christmas present, so I am super grateful for it. Now, before I start I must stress this is very expensive at £49 and currently is only in light, but they are planning on releasing a darker version.

To start with the packaging is just darling, with its strange card set up of maroon and rose gold, I just can't get enough. Removing the two shiny card end and lifting the first flap you read "This is a secret that silver screen sirens have kept to themselves for years...", it is such a great touch, making the product very fancy and classic and very Hollywood. Pulling the final flap down the two sides talk about how to use each product, it just really screams class and Hollywood, finally opening these side flaps you are met with the holy grail itself.

A beautiful rose gold box with CT in the bottom center with shine lines being produced out of it like the shiny holy grail it is. Opening the box you can see the most beautiful sculpting and highlighting powder. It is fairly light, which for me is great being the pale beauty that I am (haha). The sculpting powder is a lightly reddish brown with a hint of shimmer. It works perfectly as a light bronzer for the whole face adding that touch of class and works amazingly with an old Hollywood look. The highlight is amazing, one of my favorite highligters, it is a champagne shade, similar to The Balm Mary-Louminizer. It is very shimmery, but applying it lightly gives a subtle shimmer and look or deepen the shimmer for a dramatic look.

These powders are so beautiful that you just cannot let it go. It is very pricey, but worth the investment as it is just too beautiful to miss. Word of the wise though, be very very careful with the product as someone told me it can break easily if dropped.

What are your favorite sculpting powders and highlighters??

Stay Gorgeous
