Estee Lauder Perfectionist Foundation || Review

After making a mistake, picking up the wrong foundation (should have been Double Wear), I ended up with Estee Lauder's Perfectionist Foundation.

I was a little skeptical about this foundation as I have never heard a review or seen a post about it, so it was like a shot in the dark...but it was a great mistake.

If you like or even love the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, then you are going to love this. It is such great dupe to it, that I actually prefer the Estee Lauder version to the Rimmel. It's super easy to blend and has that slight hint of shimmer the Rimmel one has. As for shade choice it is better then Rimmel, having such a wide variety that goes pale enough for my skin tone. The finish on the face is semi dewy, but can easily be matted down for that matte look.

There seems to be a lot of product in the glass packaging, and it comes with the vital pump you really need. I have found that with this foundation a little goes  long way. Which is great, as this foundation is a little on the pricey side at £37. The foundation also boasts to deliver a more youthful look, which I feel it really does (though I am only 22, I notice a slight difference). The coverage I find to be light/medium, but it is buildable to a higher coverage. I personally like to buff this into the skin using a flat top brush, as this is what works for my skin, but I'm sure you'll use your own technique to apply it.

If you want that younger, flawless, wide awake complexion and don't mind paying for it I would highly recommend this foundation. But, if you don't want to break the bank Rimmel Wake Me Up is the way to go as it is only £5.99 and they are so identical.
