Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation || Review

The Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation has been a cult favorite with every Youtuber and Blogger, as it covers up blemishes and stays flawless all day long. So, I thought it was far time for me to try this foundation as well to see what all the fuss was about. Well now I know and I'm part of the cult.

To start with this foundation is high-end so it does have a bit of a high price tag at £29.50. But like most high-end products a little goes a very long way, which is not what I was expecting with this product. As this is a full coverage foundation, I was expecting it to be thick and feel a bit cakey on the face. However, it was definitely not like that at all, it was really creamy and easy to blend across the entire face. Once on the face it lasts for so long, at least 12 hours and hardly needs any up keep, the only thing I found I needed to do was powder my T-zone where my face was oily.

The packaging is really professional, however the only down side was the face it didn't come with a pump. This was really really annoying, as I found I was loosing a lot of product this way, so I did have to go and pick up some Mac Cosmetic foundation pumps. These pumps are a little bit of a squeeze in the bottle but once in it's secure and you can pump your foundation out. I only use about a pump and a half to cover my entire face and neck. The only problem with this foundation as a product is that when it comes to removing it from the face you need to clean it several times, as just once will not remove it all. I usually use the Body Shop Camomile Facial Butter then Philosophy's Purity Face wash

I would recommend this product if you want a high-end full coverage foundation, however, I actually prefer the Mac Studio Fix Fluid as it is easier to remove. If you really don't want to pay that price for these high-end foundations I would recommend, Loreal Infallible or Revlon Photo Ready Foundation.

Stay Gorgeous
