Maybelline Color Elixir || Review

It took me a while to choose the color I wanted but I settled for a plum color - 135 Raspberry Rhapsody. There are a few colors in this range, but I felt like a more autumn/winter color would be more appropriate. With Christmas just round the corner, ideas on stocking fillers and gifts are in mind, and this would be a perfect stocking filler to get the special woman in your life.

The size is perfect to trow in a handbag or even your pocket, and the colors available are great for all skin types and styles from nude to bright. Just like the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain, the wand is shaped very similar with the heart shape for full lip coverage. The color is more glossy and semi-opaque, which is great if you are not confident in wearing bright bold colors. For the festive season this lip would be great for a nude eye or a semi-nude to smokey eye.

The texture is very smooth and not tacky at all, perfect compared to the other gloss out there. The smell is vanilla with a hint of perfume, which is very subtle. The price of this gorgeous gloss is only £6.99, which is a great price for this luxurious gloss. You can wear this gloss on its own, or I like to apply it over Sleek Eu La La Liner in Venom. Look out for this range in your local Boots or Superdrug or anywhere that sells Maybelline. Anyone who receives this as a gift will be very pleased with the choice.

Stay Gorgeous
