Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation || Review

Wednesday, November 19, 2014

I have wanted to try a Bourjois foundation for a while, but deciding which one would suit me took forever. Some are very light coverage and others do well on dry to normal skin, as well as shade range is not very pale, so you see my dilemma. But, finding a light shade in the 123 Perfect foundation was perfect for me.

My skin has been really good, with the occasional breakouts but I am still not 100% confident with light foundation so a medium coverage was the way to go. This foundation is medium coverage, though it is very build able and very good at covering up those annoying blemishes and redness. It is slightly dewy, which means it is great at blending out to achieve that more medium coverage. It has a slight floral scent, but nothing that would be detected easily and it just feel amazing on the skin, very silky and not at all heavy.

I would recommend this foundation for people with oily skin all the way to people with dry skin, it is just that perfect balance of dry and wet that makes it perfect for all skin types. However, this brand do tend to stay with medium shades, rather then dark or pale. This can make it very hard to find your shade and makes it more likely to go for other brands with more shade selection. Though, with all this said it is a great foundation to boost your confidence with your skin. It has a higher drugstore price at £10.99, which is a little pricey when you can pick up a cheaper one, but it is well worth the money. You can pick this up in Boots or Superdrug, however, bigger stores will have more shades available if you need a more lighter shade.
