Beauty Haul

Along with a bit of a Primark Haul, I also picked up a few beauty items that I have wanted to pick up for a few weeks now. It is only a small haul as I had to pick up other things as well, but I hope you enjoy.

I firstly popped in to Superdrug and had a good look round, there was so much that I wanted to buy that I had to stop myself. Seeing the new Lily Allen nail collection and new beauty bits, it was hard to pick a few things that I wanted but I decided on three things;

Rimmel Extreme Black Wonder'full Mascara with Argon Oil. I wanted to try this since it come out but I have heard mixed reviews, so it was either going to be a hit or a miss (hint: it is a hit). In Superdrug, they were selling the usual one and this Extreme Black version for only £7.99

Rimmel Apocalips Matte Lips Gloss in Atomic Rose. This was new to me and I only found reviews for it after I purchased it. Compared to the original Apocalips it is very matte and seems to me to be pretty opaque in color. Not wanting to go to bold I just picked up the more natural nude shade. This was only £6.49

Maybelline Color Elixir Gloss in 135 Raspberry Rhapsody. New to the Maybelline brand, it looks like a lipstick with the packaging, but is in fact a very glossy gloss. The color I chose was a more plumb berry purple shade which looks great on the lips especially for autumn/winter. There are a few shades available, a few nudes and brights but I preferred a more autumn color. This cost me £6.99

Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in 050 London Posh. I have been wanting this gloss for ages since it was released in the US. Finally, having it in the UK I could indulge myself in the colors. But, not knowing what the product was really like I just picked up one for now. The color I chose was supposed to be a nude shade, but in fact it is a very shimmery color. Trying the color on my lips though actually looks great for autumn, even if it does look garish as a swatch. At the moment these only cost £5.99

Moving on towards Boots, I had another good look up and down the makeup isles but nothing was really catching my eye. I picked up an essential and then headed to the discount section and couldn't believe my eyes. It's safe to say I love the reduced section in my local Boots.

Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder. This is an essential for me and everyone asks where I pick it up from, well from Boots. This is a much more finer powder to the Rimmel Stay Matte and I find this a lot more nicer. If you are finding the Stay Matte too chalky then definitely try this one, it's only £3.99

Eylure Brow Stencil Kit. Stacked up in the reduced section were packs of 4 brow stencils, great to get your brows matching and balanced. Having four sizes/styles to choose from to create any brow look. For being in the reduced section they only cost me £2.50

Elegant Nails : House of Holland Ice Cream Nails. OMG, I have been pretty obsessed with these nails since I laied my eyes on them a good 6 months back. I actually own the Natural House of Holland nails, so the colorful ones were just to good to be true. They are all claw nails in different styles great for that fashionable claw look. These nails actually cost £7 in Boots, but in the reduced section they only cost £2.73 (Bargain!)

On my way home, I decided to stop off at Tesco, as I was planning on picking up some Rose Lemonade (which they did not have). Looking around I found a section dedicated to everything being a £1, great for the super saver me.

Argon Oil Conditioner 250ml. Being only £1 I thought I would give it a try. It smelt great and I just couldn't wait to put it in my hair. I have used this product now and I can say that it has made my hair so soft and silky.

Vosene Medicated Shampoo. If you have read previous post or seen previous videos, you would know I have a real problem with my skin and hair. Currently my hair and scalp are not behaving and has become flaky and itchy, not nice. As the price of Head and Shoulders seems to have gone up I have looked for a cheaper alternative. This shampoo has definitely banished the dry flaky head in the first wash. The only downside would be the fact that the smell is strong of a medicine, but if you condition the smell won't last. This only cost me £1.33 compared to the £4 something of Head and Shoulders.

I hope you enjoy and stay tuned for reviews of these products.

Stay Gorgeous
