Comparing the Naked2 and 3

Monday, January 06, 2014

So I got the Urban Decay Naked 3 pallet about the 1st or 2nd week inDecember and have loved it since ive used it the colours to me are perfect, as it is really hard to find good pink hue colours and this palette is just so wearable, like pink hue neutrals.  There are three matt colours and the rest are shimmery and sheens. Ive used all the colours and I haven't had any problems with fall out and the colours have stayed all day even during work days. Ive found that these colours are perfect for pale skin types as they don't make the eyes seem too sunken which I find happens when I used harsh darks and cool tones.

For christmas I recieved a gift voucher for House of Fraser which I used to purchase the Urban Decay Naked 2 pallet. When I went to buy the pallet I did look at the Naked 1 pallet but decided I prefered the colours in the Naked 2 pallet better. However, compared to the Naked 3 the colours are more generic nutrals. There are three matt shades and the rest are shimmery and sheens just as the Naked 3 shadows are.  However, I have noticed that compared to the Naked 3 there is far more fallout not because the shadows are chunky but I believe the formula is different. The shadows do stay on through the whole day and during work days, but I feel that I use more product when doing my eye makeup than when I use the Naked 3.

In all I do prefer the Naked 3 pallet as the colours and formula are just amazing but for a different type of nutral pallet I do like the Naked 2. Though, I will eventually be purchasing the Naked 1 pallet and I see it only fair to compare 1 and 2 as they are close to the same colours with only five differences between them.

Hope you enjoyed my comparitive review
Stay tuned
